Animoid is developed and operated by Tulip AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15092327.
We designed Animoid to be private by default. Your projects, artwork, files, settings, and other content remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them yourself.
Animoid does not automatically collect personal data, analytics, usage statistics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, or information about your projects.
We do not monitor how you use Animoid and we do not upload your project files or artwork to our servers.
Animoid may generate diagnostic information on your device to help identify crashes, bugs, performance problems, or other technical issues.
Diagnostic information is not automatically sent to us.
We only receive diagnostic information if you deliberately choose to share it with us, for example by attaching diagnostic files to an email or sending them to us when requesting technical support.
Depending on the nature of the issue, diagnostic information may contain technical information such as:
Animoid version;
operating system and device information;
error messages and crash information;
application logs;
technical information relating to the circumstances of a problem.
We aim to minimise the information contained in diagnostics and do not intentionally include the contents of your artwork or projects.
Before sending diagnostic information, you may review or choose not to send it.
If you contact us by email or otherwise request support, we may receive information that you choose to provide, such as:
your name;
your email address;
the contents of your message;
screenshots, project files, diagnostic logs, or other attachments that you choose to send us.
We use this information only as necessary to respond to your enquiry, investigate a problem, provide support, or improve Animoid.
Where personal data is contained in a support request or diagnostic information that you choose to send us, Tulip AI Ltd will normally process that information because it is necessary for our legitimate interests in providing technical support, diagnosing faults, maintaining Animoid, and improving the reliability and security of the application.
Where another legal basis is more appropriate, we will process the information on that basis.
Animoid is designed as a local-first application.
Your:
animation projects;
drawings and artwork;
imported media;
project metadata;
preferences; and
locally stored application data
remain on your device unless you explicitly choose to export, transfer, back up, or share them.
Tulip AI Ltd does not have access to this content merely because you use Animoid.
Animoid does not use third-party analytics or advertising services to track your activity within the application.
We do not build advertising profiles about users and we do not sell user data.
We do not sell or rent personal data.
Information that you voluntarily send to us may only be shared where reasonably necessary:
with service providers used to operate our business or provide support;
where required by law, regulation, court order, or another lawful authority;
where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
in connection with a corporate restructuring, acquisition, or sale of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We only share personal data where there is a legitimate reason to do so.
Because Animoid does not automatically transmit user data to us, we do not ordinarily hold information about your use of the application.
If you contact us or send diagnostic information, we retain that information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
respond to your request;
investigate and resolve the relevant issue;
maintain an appropriate support history;
improve the reliability or security of Animoid; or
comply with applicable legal obligations.
Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us.
However, no method of electronic communication or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Because Animoid stores projects locally by default, you are responsible for protecting your device and maintaining any backups you require.
If we use service providers located outside the United Kingdom, personal information you voluntarily send to us may be processed outside the UK.
Where required by data protection law, we will use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights in relation to personal information we hold about you, including the right to:
request access to your personal data;
request correction of inaccurate personal data;
request deletion of your personal data;
request restriction of processing;
object to certain processing;
request portability of your personal data where applicable; and
lodge a complaint with a data protection regulator.
Because Animoid does not normally receive information about your use of the application, in many cases we will have no user data to provide or delete.
If you have contacted us or supplied diagnostic information, you can contact us to exercise your rights in relation to that information.
Animoid does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the application.
Because projects and other application data remain on the user's device by default, Tulip AI Ltd does not ordinarily receive information about users, including their age.
If a child or their parent or guardian contacts us directly, any personal information provided will be handled in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable data protection law.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if Animoid's functionality changes or if legal requirements change.
Where appropriate, we will update the date shown at the top of this policy.
If we introduce functionality that materially changes the information Animoid collects or transmits, we will update this policy accordingly.
